Krusteaz Belgian Supreme Waffle Mix is specially formulated to make premium quality Belgian waffles that are crisp and golden on the outside, and supremely light and fluffy on the inside. This mix also makes excellent traditional style waffles and goes great with fresh fruit.
The Krusteaz story began in 1932 when a group of women from a Seattle bridge club created an easy-as-pie, just-add-water crust that was an industry first. They called it 'Crust Ease'. Belgian Ingredients: Enriched Bleached Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid, Malted Barley Flour), Sugar, Baking Soda, Maltodextrin. Blueberry Ingredients: ENRICHED BLEACHED FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, MALTED BARLEY FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THIAMIN MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, FOLIC ACID), IMITATION BLUEBERRY PIECES (DEXTROSE, PALM OIL, ENRICHED BLEACHED FLOUR [WHEAT FLOUR, NIACIN, IRON, THIAMIN MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, FOLIC ACID], NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, CITRIC ACID, CELLULOSE GUM, BLUE 2, RED 40, BLUE 1), SUGAR, LEAVENING (BAKING SODA, MONOCALCIUM PHOSPHATE), DEXTROSE, SOYBEAN OIL, SALT, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS (CONTAINS BLUEBERRY JUICE SOLIDS).
Instructions: To make 2–3 7-inch round waffles use 1½ cups mix, 2/3 cup water, 1 egg and 3 Tbsp oil.To make 4–5 7-inch round waffles use 3 cups mix, 1-1/3 cups water, 2 eggs and 1/3 cup oil.To make 9–10 7-inch round waffles use full box of mix, 2¾ cups water, 4 eggs and 2/3 cup oil. 1. Heat waffle iron.Heat and lightly grease waffle iron.2. Whisk waffle mix, water, eggs(s) and oil.Whisk waffle mix, water, egg(s) and oil until smooth. Let batter stand 2 minutes. Pour about 2/3 cup batter onto waffle iron.3. Cook until golden.Cook waffles 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.High Altitude: No adjustment necessary.
